Tetramethylsilane with oxime groups

Main applications: It is used as a curing agent and crosslinking agent for room‑temperature vulcanizing silicone rubber. Tetrabutylketoxysilane is often blended with methyltris(β‑ketoxymethyl)silane, which can significantly accelerate the surface drying of ketoxime‑cured RTV silicone rubbers, prevent surface cracking, and enhance properties such as tensile strength. Replacing vinyltris(β‑ketoxymethyl)silane with tetrabutylketoxysilane eliminates the tendency of the latter to yellow over time.
